We are looking for a talented and positive teacher with a passion for their subject, who has an absolute belief in the limitless potential of young people. 

This post is for a Science Teacher on a fixed term contract, joining our creative and academically successful Science Faculty.  Students enjoy all aspects of science and are enthusiastic and engaged in both theory and practical lessons.  You will have the opportunity to work across the 11-16 age and ability range, enabling all our young people to achieve their personal best. 

We are looking for someone with excellent teaching, organisation and communication skills who will be able to work as part of a highly motivated Science Faculty. While an enthusiasm for Physics is preferred, it is by no means essential.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
