Job details
To start as soon as possible
Kingstone High School is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team who will have a focus on attendance admin procedures, working closely with students, staff, parents and carers to reduce absence and who will support the general administrative processes within the school.
We are seeking a candidate with a high level of personal organisation and accuracy who has the ability to work independently, as well as to work as an effective team member.
The successful candidate will be friendly, approachable and caring. You will be liaising with parents, agencies and other stakeholders as necessary, and therefore it is essential that you are confident in communicating in a positive manner to a diverse range of people.
You will require a flexible approach and the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. Excellent IT skills are required, and a sense of humour is essential and applications from colleagues with experience of working in an administrative role will be most welcome.
We can offer you:
- the opportunity to work with a friendly staff team where your skills, enthusiasm and hard work will be appreciated
- active commitment and support for your professional development
- a wellbeing day for all staff members
If you think that you have the skills to offer and would like to join our supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
Kingstone Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
