Our welcoming EYFS team is looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic
Teaching Assistant to support our youngest children as they take their first
steps on their learning journey. If you love play‑based learning, early language
development, and helping children feel safe, confident, and excited to explore,
this role is for you.
About the Role
Support the class teacher in delivering high‑quality EYFS provision
Work with children individually and in small groups to develop early
communication, language, and number skills
Assist with phonics, early writing, and hands‑on learning activities
Help set up and supervise indoor and outdoor continuous provision
Encourage positive social interactions, independence, and emotional
wellbeing
Support routines such as snack time, tidy‑up time, and transitions
throughout the day
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a genuine passion for working with young children
Understands the importance of play in early learning
Communicates warmly and clearly with children and adults
Is patient, nurturing, and able to respond sensitively to children’s needs
Works well as part of a collaborative EYFS team
Brings creativity, energy, and a calm, reassuring presence
Experience in EYFS or early childhood education is desirable, but a positive,
child‑centred approach is essential.
