The governors and leadership team are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our current team supporting the education and welfare of pupils at Ivington.
The main responsibilities would be:
• To assist with the planning and preparation of materials and delivery of the curriculum.
• To direct group activities within and away from the classroom.
• To assist with the assessment of children's progress.
• To assist with meeting medical, personal, social and behavioural needs.
• To follow the relevant procedures for ensuring that information and data is collected and recorded accurately thus enabling the production of reliable analyses and reports.
The candidates will have:
• An empathic, patient and caring approach and the ability to support children struggling with expectations and boundaries and/or academic progress.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or an equivalent qualification.
• The willingness to undertake further training, as appropriate.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The desire to support the school’s Christian ethos and policies.
